Colourology

Thank you for coming to my show!   It was a special evening.  Thanks to my supporters including Canvas Invaders who captured the event in this beautiful video.

Chromotherapy or colourology is the science of using colours to promote healing. it has roots in ancient Egypt, Greece, and India.   Different colours give off different wavelengths of electromagnetic energy. This is why certain colours are thought to have positive effects on specific ailments and influence a  person's   state of mind in specific ways.

Colourolgy was conceived at the end of 2021. This was a year that brought hardship to just about everyone, and the need for healing around the world was apparent. I have been told by admirers and collectors of my art that my works help them to achieve feelings of peace, and  tranquility. They help them to heal. It's quite amazing to experience these feelings when surrounded by deep meaningful and colourful art works.

Colourolgy is an art exhibit created to celebrate the power of colour for personal healing. There is no doubt that this colorful exhibit has the ability to help you to heal your physical, mental, and spiritual body. When you look at each piece, I encourage you to acknowledge the good and bad feelings that arise. Allow them to flow through you until a feeling of peace comes over you.

Colourolgy is a special experience that encourages us to pause, even just momentarily, and explore the power of healing.

Please enjoy the beautiful energy, let it do its magic and - if you can - turn into love, that you can share with others. Remember the whole world needs to be healed one person at a time.

The collection was first shown at Malcom's Choice in Brampton, Ontario Canada and later at TAAG Gallery in New York.
